Diamond Auto Glass LIMITED LIFETIME Tint WARRANTY
In the unlikely event that the Diamond Auto Glass film you have purchased should experience adhesive failure, bubbling, cracking, crazing, delamination, demetallization, peeling, excessive unusual change of color, or any other failure due to manufacturer’s defect, Diamond Auto Glass will provide replacement film and reasonable labor charges provided that reimbursement does not exceed the amount of the original invoice. For purposes of this warranty, the original invoice amount includes the price of the original film, and installation labor paid at the time of the original installation.
Payment of labor for partial window film replacement will be prorated based on the amount of defective film replaced and the amount charged for installation in the original invoice.
This warranty applies to:
- Independent window film dealer (Diamond Auto Glass) or installer who purchases the film from Bekaert or who sells the film;
- Any individual, company, business or entity that purchased the film from an independent window film dealer; and
- Subsequent vehicle purchaser, who, for a fee (see section E below) may transfer the warranty on a one-time basis only, provided that the warranty is transferred within five (5) years of the original installation of the film, and the purchaser is the firstowner to possess the vehicle after the original window film purchaser. Additionally, the duration of the transferred warranty is for five (5) years from the original date of installation. Transferring the warranty changes the duration of warranty coverage. Under no circumstance shall the transfer warranty period exceed five (5) years from original date of installation.
RETAIN THE COMPLETED WARRANTY DOCUMENT WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE IN YOUR RECORDS.
SCOPE OF COVERAGE
Unless transferred, the warranty period is for the life of the vehicle and begins on the date
the original film was installed. Diamond Auto Glass shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense or cost caused or partially caused through:
- Improper film installation, film care, cleaning, or abuse, or glass breakage;
- The quality of the installation performed by the independent window film dealer;
- Non-automotive applications and non-complying film uses; and
- Any other acts, occurrences, defects, faults or damages not associated with the manufacture of Diamond Auto Glass window films.
